Tory Burch's Bad Boy Valentine Runway Show

Tory Burch unveiled a collection this Valentine’s morning that would easily fit into Blair Waldorf’s closet. The idea for the collection and the show was the “prim girl with the wrong boyfriend and the hotel where they meet.” A sea foam green carpet runway and floral back drop made for the perfect ritzy hotel setting while the collection demonstrated a sophisticated, polished style that hinted at sexy, seductive tone. Classy cashmere cardigans were trimmed in pearls and made to sparkle with sequin embellishments. Ruffled, romantic tops were paired with sleek, skinny pants and shinning, glitter skirts. “My favorite piece is this sort of fisherman coat that was based off a fisherman sweater with stitching and deconstructed shoulders. I also love this paperweight peplum jacket,” said Ms. Burch. Accessories were also a show stealing part of the collection. Handbags were in bold plaids and fierce snakeskin. Best of all were the bags with tortoise and floral details. The collection was chic and subtly sensual in keeping with the theme. Through this collection Ms. Burch spun a new twist on the elegant woman in love with the bad boy.
